This book was developed as a final project for the Masters in Illustration and Animation at Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave. “Activity Book For Massaging Imagination” is a book for youth and adults that intends to promote practising different kinds of hand drawing and to offer ideas on what to record. The book will remind the youth/adult of what it felt like reading a children’s book, especially since it has more images than text, it has a better connection between text and images and it asks for the readers’ participation. The book invites readers to complete its design with their story and with all that is around them, resorting to brief sentences and artwork as a starting point for each activity.
This is an opportunity for the readers to know themselves better and to be able to record a little bit of their story on a book.
This is a book that celebrates drawing and the singularity of each reader!
